The BPS Monitor is the central nervous system for managing energy use in the industry, tracking real-time energy usage updates across all locations. The System manages current power source, peak/average load demand, and cost. It is a decision-making tool, enabling active facility management by benchmarking energy cost, highlighting waste, and numerous other features.
The BPS Monitor web application was developed using ASP.NET MVC in conjunction with SQL 2012 database. Knockout was used in order to create a rich, responsive display, adding to a clean, underlying data model. Bootstrap was selected as the best multi-device support, providing the most accurate experience.
The project’s key goals provided customers with simple navigation, and user-friendly feel for the graphical user interface (GUI), and powerful key reporting abilities to manipulate data. Ideally, users view data in greater detail through interactive dashboards by mapping various components.
